Important Advice on Relationship

Yes, we may not be able to control how our partner conducts themselves during the relationship, but we can control whom we choose to date.

  • Have standards and don't just date anyone. Choose wisely.

  • Have standards you think are reasonable and that are aligned with God's word.

  • Once you've decided to bring someone into your life, trust them whole-heartedly and make peaceful adjustments along the way. They are on your team!

  • Do not be anxious of things that haven't happened. These fears may well come from your evil mind because you think everyone behaves in the evil ways you do. Check your heart and cleanse your heart

  • Once is a mistake, twice is a mistake. Third is intended. When your partner is at fault once or even twice, reprimand them in love and not in anger.

  • Never let a woman make you lose temper. They will use it against you.

  • Look around you. The world is full of average people. Your partner is simply friends with an average "Joe". If anything happens, she is at their level and wasn't worth keeping in the first place.

  • Always question, "How about the ugly and less competent men who have a girlfriend?"

  • Be honest and open about your standards. Communicate them to your partner.

  • Just because they are Christian, doesn't make them a good partner.

  • Don't ever control your partner because you never can. Once you've communicated your standards to them, let them be.

  • If a woman repeatedly shows disrespect through both words and action, leave. Women can only truly love those they can respect.

  • Focus on a greater probability than worrying about a lower probability. "What if this time, she becomes attracted to a lesser man than I?" NOPE! It should be, "This one will surely stick with someone like me."

  • Don’t let anyone change the way you conduct yourself and what you’ve developed yourself to be

  • Worry more about your own actions before you worry about those of others. People are different, and it’s more likely they won’t think or act the same way you do.
